Essential Oils For Mind, Body, and Soul

Introduction:

Hello all, my name is Ronna Pierce and I’m currently a junior at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Im majoring in Consumer Affairs and minoring in Mass Communications. I’m constantly always putting in work whether it be inside or outside of school, and I’ve searched for many remedies to help ease my mind and stay focused. With research and many different techniques, aromatherapy has been one leading factor in my life that has helped me through many tough situations, and has become an essential use throughout my daily and nightly routines.

I chose to promote essential oils as my topic because a lot of people aren’t aware, or are skeptical about the benefits and outcomes it can establish. Essential oils are chemical compounds we use from plant extracts that can help the mind and body in a therapeutic way. Although oils aren’t used for medication, they are used in numerous practices when pertaining to medicine, and are being linked treating patients through oil healing . There are various oils, and methods to using them. You can use oils through inhalation, massages, while bathing, or incorporate them into foods and drinks. As I continue blogging about essential oils, I will go into more detail about the way you can use and can’t use them, the different types of oils for the type of feeling you’d like to receive, and the history and studies behind aromatherapy.
